In years past, I worked with photo composite imagery in the darkroom, but digital photography has made this approach to image building so much more controllable, although not less effort or time-consuming.   I am enjoying breaking the bounds of photography as a ‘view through a window’ into creating an artwork unto itself while retaining the ‘believability’ of photography.
